Your health comes first. Your smile matters too.
Health is always the priority. But we also want you to feel confident that your smile looks its best — and modern cosmetic dentistry has a solution for very nearly any flaw you might be unhappy with.
The right starting point is a conversation. Tell us what bothers you when you look at a photograph of yourself, and we will design a treatment plan around that, not around a package.
Teeth whitening
Whitening is one of the simplest and most cost-effective improvements available. Drugstore kits are cheap and easy to find, but nothing beats professional whitening for how far it goes and how evenly it gets there.
Veneers
When you see a film actor with perfect teeth, there is a good chance veneers built that smile. A veneer is a thin shell of porcelain or composite resin bonded to the front of a tooth, correcting colour, shape, length or size. You might have one, or you might have several — it depends entirely on what you are trying to change.
Cosmetic fillings and bonding
If you need a filling, there are two main materials. Amalgam is the traditional metal filling — safe and effective, but it reads as a silver or grey spot against the white of your tooth. Composite resin can be matched to the exact shade of your natural tooth.
Composite is generally what we recommend for anything visible. If you have existing amalgam fillings, you may want to consider replacing them for a more natural look — particularly if they are leaking or causing other problems.
The same composite material is used for bonding: applied in a putty-like state, shaped to the tooth, hardened, then trimmed and polished until it disappears.
Crowns, and straightening
Porcelain crowns can correct shape and colour on a tooth that also needs structural help. We also offer orthodontic treatment with Invisalign where straightening is the real answer to a cosmetic complaint.
All of our dentistry is done with an eye toward aesthetics. Even a filling at the back of your mouth gets shaped and polished properly. We know it matters that your teeth are both healthy and attractive.
Common questions
Cosmetic Dentistry FAQs
I'm not happy with the appearance of my teeth. What options do I have?
We offer veneers, porcelain crowns, bonding with tooth-coloured composite, professional whitening, and orthodontic treatment including Invisalign. Which of those is right depends entirely on what specifically bothers you — call the office and book a consultation, and we will show you the realistic options for your teeth.
Am I too old for cosmetic dentistry?
Absolutely not. You are never too old to have a smile you like. We would be happy to show you photographs of other transformations we have done for patients at every age.
My teeth are discoloured. What are my options?
Sometimes a simple whitening procedure is all it takes. If your staining is resistant to whitening — which some kinds are — there are other routes: veneers, bonding, or porcelain crowns. We will tell you honestly which is likely to work for your particular discolouration.
How long does cosmetic treatment take?
It varies enormously. Whitening can be a single visit. Veneers or crowns typically take two to three appointments over a few weeks, because the restoration is custom-made at a dental lab. We will give you the real timeline at your consultation.
